The security service intensified the fight against international organized crime: two Russian criminals were detained in Kyiv.

One of the detainees turned out to be a citizen of the Russian Federation, who was on the NSDC sanctions list as a criminal authority involved in the commission of severe crimes. In connection with this, he was banned from entering our country.

Another perpetrator is a Russian recidivist, repeatedly sentenced to prison, including for murder. He was also in the territory of Ukraine illegally.

Employees of the Security Service timely exposed the potential threat and detained both intruders.

In order to prevent crimes, the specified persons were forcibly expelled from Ukraine.

The employees of the Main Directorate prevented the enemy's subversive activities for Countering Systemic Threats to State Administration of the SBU under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office.
