Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine discovered two enemy agents involved in the activities of the enemy's agent network in the Mykolaiv region.

On the instructions of the Russian special services, the attackers carried out reconnaissance and diversionary activities: they collected and passed on to the enemy intelligence on important infrastructure facilities, fuel depots, and the deployment and movement of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces.

The occupiers used the received data to launch targeted missile strikes and massive artillery fire, including at the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

As a result of the actions of this network, several objects of the city's shipbuilding infrastructure were destroyed and damaged, including the factories "Equator", "Krystal", "Ocean", warehouses with fuel and lubricants, and destruction was caused to objects of social infrastructure.

According to the investigation, the perpetrators came to the attention of the Russian special services thanks to their pro-Russian views, which they did not hide.

With the beginning of the large-scale invasion, the so-called "responsible for gathering intelligence" on the territory of the Mykolaiv region came to them. In the future, he was an intermediary between FSB employees, who coordinated his actions, and adjusters.

The attackers carried out constant visual surveillance of objects of interest to the enemy and sent the results to the curator using sophisticated closed electronic communication channels.

They involved their acquaintances in the performance of some tasks.

In the course of searches carried out at the agents' residences, equipment for the transmission of intelligence was discovered and seized.

Currently, they have been notified of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the transfer of weapons and military supplies to Ukraine, the movement, transfer, or placement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen.

The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for a term of 8 to 12 years.

Investigative and operational actions are ongoing to identify other persons involved in the activities of the agent network.

SBU employees carried out measures to expose the crime in the Mykolaiv region under the procedural guidance of the Mykolaiv regional prosecutor's office.
