The security service intercepted the documents of the Russian invaders, which regulated the organization of a fake referendum of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia.

According to the received materials, the identities of more than 1,000 Russian security forces, which are planned to be involved in the "protection" of pseudo-voting events, have been established. Among them are units of the Russian Guard, the military police of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It was established that traitors and collaborators who were part of the "main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Zaporizhzhia region" created by the occupiers should help them.

To control the behavior of the participants of the illegal referendum, the Kremlin organizers plan to involve an extensive network of private security firms under the control of the special services of the Russian Federation.

In addition, SBU employees received a complete list of enemy accomplices who voluntarily agreed to head the so-called "territorial electoral commissions." So far, more than 390 collaborators have been identified.

The Security Service also identified all the organizers of illegal activities, their credentials and their locations.

Within the framework of criminal proceedings for:

  • Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (collaborative activity),
  • Part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring the guilty parties to justice.

Measures to expose and document crimes were carried out by employees of the Department of Protection of National Statehood of the Security Service together with investigators of the SBU of the Zaporizhia Region under the procedural guidance of the Zaporizhia Regional Prosecutor's Office.
