A second caravan with food was sent from the ports of Odessa region.
This was reported by the press service of the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
It is noted that this morning a second caravan with Ukrainian food left Odessa and the port of Chernomorsk - three ships from Chernomorsk and one from Odessa. Four bulk carriers, "Mustafa Necati", "Star Helena", "Glory" and "Riva Wind" have almost 170 thousand tons of agricultural products on board. Vessels are sent to the ports of Italy, China and Turkey.
"After the ports have worked out the organization of the first caravan, we are gradually reaching large-scale volumes of work. In the near future, we plan to ensure the ability of the ports to handle at least 100 ships per month. We also plan to fully integrate Yuzhny port into the implementation of the Initiative soon," - Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov noted.
Thanks to this, Ukraine will be able to send even larger caravans of ships to buyers, at least up to 3 million tons of cargo per month.
