"This war has changed us. And we should start honestly talking about our traumas and problems because it is the first step towards their resolution. I hope that the series will be able to help Ukrainians with this. And for the whole world, it will serve as a reminder: just because you don't hear much about events in Ukraine doesn't mean that aggression against our people has stopped. People are tired of news about war, and that's understandable. However, Ukraine still needs support. We feel it from the international community, but this support is not as strong as before. That's why we decided to release the series right now, on a painful date for us. We want the whole world to remember that we are here, we are fighting. And we are fighting not only for ourselves," commented Yevhen Tunik, the showrunner and creator of the idea behind "In Her Car."
