Ukrainian national team footballer Ruslan Malinovsky is close to transferring from French Marseille to the Italian club Genoa, which was previously managed by Andriy Shevchenko.
Malinovskyi has already arrived in Italy and will undergo a medical examination in the near future. After that, he will sign a contract with the Italian club, according to journalist Marco Bovicelli.
According to media reports, Genoa will loan Malinovsky for one season with an option to buy for 10 million euros.
It is expected that today the Ukrainian will hold his first training session as part of Genoa and may make his debut for the new team in the match of the 1st round of the Italian championship against Fiorentina.
Before moving to Marseille, Malinovsky played in Italy for Atalanta.
