The Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia, together with the Latvian volunteer organization "SOS Help for the Army of Ukraine," organized the dispatch of Bandvagn 202 tracked amphibious all-terrain vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, the vehicles were purchased in Norway through donations from the Latvian community in Chicago.
"The vehicles are designed for transporting personnel and equipment in snowy and swampy terrain. The Bv202 can carry 10 soldiers and up to one ton of cargo," the embassy said.
It is noted that the Ambassador of Ukraine, Anatoliy Kutsyvol, expressed gratitude to the Latvian society and all concerned citizens abroad whose charitable contributions helped provide the necessary equipment for Ukrainian defenders.
