The Ecuadorian brewery now brews the first internationally recognized Ukrainian beer style.

The “Ukrainian Golden Ale” style originated in Donetsk Oblast in 2009. It was internationally recognized in June 2022.
“We wrote the argument before the start of the (full-scale) war. We detailed what makes it unique, its characteristics, and why we believe it deserves its own category. It was very important to emphasize that we are not trying to capitalize on emotions,” wrote Lana Svitankova, a beer sommelier and beer researcher.
According to Untappd, the largest beer database, Ukrainian Golden Ale is brewed by at least 29 breweries worldwide. Of these, 15 are located in Ukraine, and 14 are abroad.
Among the international breweries brewing this Ukrainian style are:

In Ukraine, Ukrainian Golden Ale is brewed at Volta Brewery, Kyiv Local Brewery, Pivna Duma (Kyiv), Umanpivo, and others.
