The army brigade has already arrived in the Dutch port city of Vlissingen and will continue to the territory of Lithuania and Poland.
The United States intends to significantly strengthen NATO's eastern flank by deploying hundreds of units of military heavy equipment and vehicles in Lithuania and Poland.
At the moment, the corresponding brigade has already arrived in the Netherlands, NOS TV channel reports.
The equipment was delivered to the territory of Holland by ships: the crew arrived in the local port city of Vlissingen. In the future, the brigade will go directly to the territory of Poland and Lithuania. The Dutch military will help ensure the safe relocation of equipment: the main routes will include road, rail, and water transport routes.
According to the channel, the army brigade consists of 1275 units of equipment. It includes M1 Abrams tanks, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, and other types of equipment.
The United States intends to keep the brigade in Poland and Lithuania for six months.
