In the Zhytomyr region, thanks to the UNITED24 initiative, another bridge, destroyed by Russians in March 2022, has been restored. The bridge connects 7 settlements within one of the communities that was de-occupied in early April 2022.
The reconstruction of the bridge will improve logistics in the region and ensure safe passage for the residents of surrounding villages and towns.
Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced this development, stating that the 36-meter bridge, destroyed by Russians in March 2022, was reconstructed by servicemen from the 1st Separate Brigade named after Prince Lev of the State Special Transport Service.
"We continue to rebuild infrastructure and restore normal life in the de-occupied territories. Thanks to everyone who supports UNITED24 and helps restore Ukraine," added Fedorov.
