The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on the Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk directions and have achieved certain successes.

As part of the offensive, Ukrainian troops have liberated the village of Urozhainoye. Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are consolidating their positions on the reached lines, delivering artillery strikes on identified enemy targets, and conducting counter-battery combat, said the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalyov, during a television marathon broadcast.

Furthermore, on the Bahmut direction, the defense forces continue their offensive actions south of the city of Bahmut. Ukrainian military units are consolidating on the achieved lines there. Intense battles continue in this direction.

At the same time, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy conducted aviation strikes on the territories in the areas of Vasyukivka, Kleshchiivka, Andriivka, and Severnoye in the Donetsk region. As a result of the enemy's artillery shelling, over 15 populated areas were affected, including Minkivka, Hryhorivka, Bahmut, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, and Diliivka in the Donetsk region.

According to Kovalyov, over the past day, the Russians also made futile attempts to advance in the areas of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka. "The enemy is putting up strong resistance, conducting unit and troop movements, and actively employing reserves," he noted.

Ukrainian soldiers also continue to repel the advance of Russian forces on the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Bahmut directions. In particular, on the Kupyansk direction, our defenders repelled Russian attacks in the area southeast of Olshanov and east of Petropavlivka.
