The administration of the US President will allocate a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth $300 million.
This was announced by White House representative Jake Sullivan, on his press briefing.
According to Sullivan, the new package of military aid to Ukraine will include artillery shells and GMLRS rockets for HIMARS, among other things.
At the same time, the White House has called on the US Congress to pass legislation providing funding to support Ukraine as quickly as possible. Sullivan reiterated President Joe Biden's words that "time is running out" and that aid to Ukraine is needed right now.
This is the first package of military aid to Ukraine from the US since December 2023.
