On the night of July 12, the Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region.

“According to the results of our rocket and artillery units performing fire missions, the enemy lost 52 rashists, a Msta-B howitzer, a mortar, seven armored and automotive vehicles, as well as an ammunition depot in Nova Kakhovka,†the command said in a statement.
It should be noted that Russian propagandists claim that the detonation in ammunition depots continues for more than 10 hours. True, the Russians, as usual, are lying, inventing different versions of what happened. The deputy of the regional council, adviser to the head of the Kherson regional police department, Sergey Khlan, wrote about the ridiculous attempts of the Russian propaganda to hide the truth on Facebook:
“Kherson region. Enemy propaganda after the explosion in Russian warehouses in Nova Kakhovka fantasized all night about where the Armed Forces of Ukraine got to. They lie and cannot decide on their lies. They write that ours ended up in a hydroelectric power station, then in a hospital and residential buildings, then in the center of Russian humanitarian aid, and most of all I was amused that there was a hit in saltpeter compositions belonging to … me. I don't know what they meant by that… That I was to blame for the explosion or what? Unfortunately, not me. But from me, sincere congratulations to the guys in the Armed Forces of Ukraine who ended up in these warehouses. By the way, ammunition is still being detonated, and commentators in Russian public channels are beginning to suspect something about the “second†army.â€
“If in Tavriysk, after getting into the warehouses, the Russians were still trying to spread the lie that “there was nothing there, we took everything out,†then this will not work with Nova Kakhovka.
