Tigran Avakyan: Russia's global influence is primarily upheld by its nuclear triad capabilities

"Russia remains a global power only in one aspect - as a nuclear triad. The nuclear triad consists of three components: airborne, submarine, and land-based. What happens in the land-based component, particularly how the missiles operate in silos, is unknown. The situation with the airborne component is also dubious, given the global control over all take-offs and landings. The most problematic part of Russia's triad is the submarine component.

By relying solely on this nuclear triad, if Russia paints itself into a corner, it automatically sets itself against the entire "bad club," making everyone its enemies, who would strive to quickly destroy Russia's nuclear potential.

As an exaple, France not only conducts regular inspections and strengthens them, as certain processes of rearmament and reconfiguration of France's nuclear forces have begun. Talking with my French colleagues, I have a strong sense that France is prepared for nuclear conflict. The point is, France's losses, without raising the stakes to the maximum level, would be higher than using maximum stakes.

France possesses 300 nuclear warheads, more than enough for any type of war.

It is important to understand that nuclear weapons are not "weapons" but merely means of deterrence. And any country that converts deterrence into the use of conventional weapons automatically poses a threat to all countries, as it now threatens the entire planet. If Russia were to successfully employ its entire nuclear potential, there would be no Earth left. We understand that no one can agree with that.

In such a case, there are certain matrices that when the threat reaches a level where there is no doubt that Russia will want, for example, to use nuclear weapons, preemptive strikes are applied, destroying all of Russia's nuclear weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. Or above the territory of the Russian Federation. It is clear that there are protocols. Questions of synchronicity arise. Why would Great Britain work synchronously with the US and France? The point is that any military activity, intelligence activity, actions within the strategic military planning of Great Britain and the US are synchronized, like clockwork. Because there is the Five Eyes alliance. This is an intelligence alliance for full information exchange and synchronization of actions within the implementation of military strategic planning. This alliance includes: the US, Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

And now about NATO. If France unexpectedly takes such actions, response protocols in Great Britain and the US are activated, and they automatically become the back office. Just as France always acts as the US's back office. Therefore, there is no rivalry between France and Great Britain. There is a unified systemic advancement of interests, where roles change or binary application of different vectors occurs, leading to a common result."
