Chicken meat production in Ukraine has remained stable despite the war—between 1.3 and 1.4 million tons annually during 2021–2024.
According to data from the Union of Poultry Breeders, the ten largest companies control nearly 79% of Ukraine’s chicken meat production, Forbes Ukraine reports.
The top 10 chicken producers include:
- MHP — 748.1 thousand tons produced, 53% market share, $3.05 billion in revenue.
- Dniprovskyi Poultry Complex — 79.9 thousand tons, 5.7% share, ₴5.8 billion in revenue.
- Agro-Oven — 75.3 thousand tons, 5.4% share, ₴1 billion in revenue.
- Avesterra Group — 52.5 thousand tons, 3.7% share, ₴494 million in revenue.
- Hubyn Poultry Complex — 44 thousand tons, ₴1.5 billion in revenue.
- Ular — 41.4 thousand tons, 3% share, ₴3.6 billion in revenue.
- Agro-Ros — 15.8 thousand tons, 1.1% share, ₴1.2 billion in revenue.
- Sniatyn Poultry Farm — 13.9 thousand tons, 0.99% share, ₴682 million in revenue.
- K Agroinvest Trade — 9.4 thousand tons, 0.67% share.
- Podilsky Broiler — 4.9 thousand tons, 0.35% share, ₴238 million in revenue.
Around 40% of chicken meat produced in Ukraine is exported. In 2024, the leading importers included the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Slovakia.
