Argentine athlete with disabilities, Jean Madji, offers assistance in establishing tricycle production – adapted Tricycles for people with disabilities in Lviv. He shared this during a meeting today with the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi. Jean Madji's foundation in Argentina is engaged in mass production of tricycles for individuals with disabilities.
Argentinian athlete Jean Madji is the first person with disabilities to have ridden an adapted bicycle through the Himalayas, crossed the Andes on horseback, stepped onto the shores of Antarctica, and is now preparing for a space flight. He visited Lviv and met with the city's mayor.
Jean Madji emphasized the importance of socializing wounded individuals after recovery. His foundation is engaged in the production of adapted transportation for children and adults with disabilities. Last year, the first tricycles were already provided to Ukrainians. Currently, Jean is offering project documentation for tricycle production for free, with the aim of establishing a factory in Lviv.
"I applaud you for what you're doing with prosthetics. I also believe that after treatment, it's necessary to reintegrate people into society. In 2022, our foundation sent 20 bicycles to Ukraine. Another 10 are currently awaiting in Warsaw. We want to gift you the project of creating bicycles here, to establish your own factory. That's why we're here," shared Jean Madji.
"In Lviv, bicycles used to be manufactured. I believe that now we can establish specialized production. It can become another piece of the puzzle in our UNBROKEN ecosystem. And we can do it together. We need the best expertise that exists in the world today to realize such projects in Ukraine. If you become our partners and together we implement what you already excel at, success will be twice as great," emphasized Andriy Sadovyi.
