On the night of January 19 (from 18:00 on January 18), Russian forces launched an attack using 145 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (russia), Chauda (occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), and Donetsk (occupied territory of Ukraine). About 90 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense had shot down or suppressed 126 UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types.
Impacts by 13 strike UAVs were recorded at 12 locations, and debris from downed UAVs fell at five locations.
