Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defence for European Integration Serhiy Boiev held a meeting with Canadian Deputy Minister of National Defence for Budget Stefanie Beck. The negotiations took place at the International Security Forum in Halifax, Canada.

Serhiy Boiev presented a detailed list of Ukraine's military needs that Canada could address in the upcoming year.

"Our goal is to create as detailed and agreed upon a picture of weapons supply from each country, including Canada," emphasized the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defence.

Serhiy Boiev and Stefanie Beck agreed to regularly coordinate efforts to build a clear understanding of what support Ukraine's Defence Forces can count on.

Since 2022, a significant portion of the agenda at the Halifax Conference – one of the most influential and representative global platforms for discussing security issues – has been dedicated to finding ways to counter Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.
