President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

The President expressed gratitude for the Norwegian Parliament's decision yesterday to increase aid to Ukraine next year from $1.4 billion to $3.2 billion, highlighting its unanimous support across all parliamentary factions. Volodymyr Zelensky called this a genuine testament to the unwavering support of the Norwegian people for Ukraine.

The President emphasized that part of these funds will be allocated to the domestic production of drones and other weaponry in Ukraine.

The leaders also discussed Ukraine's priority needs. In light of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, these include generators, other energy equipment, and additional air defense systems.

Additionally, Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Norway for the recent reception of a Ukrainian delegation led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and for assistance in fostering connections between Ukrainian and Norwegian defense companies.
