Expansion of cooperation in the economic sphere, as well as European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine were among the topics of discussion during a bilateral meeting on November 10 between Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Prime Minister of Romania Nicolae CiucÄ.
The parties raised the issue of expanding export opportunities of Ukraine. In particular, they agreed to intensify work on commissioning and opening of border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Romanian border.
According to Denys Shmyhal, it was also agreed to establish a bilateral working group on the development of transport infrastructure on the common border. The EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine will join the work. According to him, it will facilitate attraction of funding from the EU at the next stages.
The Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Romania have also touched upon the issue of support for the energy sector of our country in connection with missile attacks and destruction of Ukrainian energy system by the russian federation. In particular, the parties discussed the supply of electrical equipment and intensification of work in this area jointly with the European Commission.
Besides, Denys Shmyhal and Nicolae CiucÄ spoke about the support of European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine.
