On December 5, the International Trade Exhibition "Food Africa 2022", which is one of the largest and most significant in the region for manufacturers planning to promote their products on the African continent, began its work in Cairo.
This year, the Exhibition presents products from more than 450 manufacturers from almost 40 countries.
The Exhibition was opened by Ali El-Sayed Ali El-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade of Egypt. Before the Exhibition's opening, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt, Mykola Nahorny, congratulated A. Moselhi on the event and had a short conversation with the Egyptian official.
Despite the ongoing Russian aggression, Ukrainian exporters also participate in the Exhibition. The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Arab Republic of Egypt visited the stand of the Ukrainian company and discussed with domestic exporters further possible steps to promote their products in the markets of Egypt and other African countries.
Egypt is Ukraine's leading trade partner on the African continent. The total volume of bilateral trade in goods and services in 2021 reached $2.43 billion.
