On Saturday, October 14, the Ukrainian national team won against North Macedonia in the European Championship football qualification.
Ukraine took the lead in the 30th minute when Georgiy Sudakov fired from long range, and the ball ricocheted off an opponent into the net.
The Ukrainian team scored a second goal late in the match during added time. Alexander Karavaev noticed that the Macedonian goalkeeper, Stole Dimitrievski, was far from his goal and made an impressive shot from the left flank.
Ukraine defeated North Macedonia with a score of 2-0, earning 10 points and moving to the second position in Group C. North Macedonia is currently fourth with 7 points. England leads the group with 13 points, and Italy is third with 7 points. Malta has not earned any points.
