British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss assured that her state would provide Ukraine with more assistance after each Russian missile hitting Ukrainian cities.

The aggressor must lose, so the UK must help the Ukrainians push the Russians out of their land.

Truss stated this, addressing the participants of the second summit of first ladies and gentlemen, which takes place on July 23 in Kyiv.

"We know that Ukrainians are fighting not only for their future but for democracy, future, and sovereignty as such. That is why the victory of Ukraine is important for all of us. With every rocket that hits Ukrainian cities, with every man, woman and child suffering, we will provide more," the head of the Foreign Ministry said.

She added that Britain would help to make Ukraine stronger, more successful after this war because it will become a symbol of democracy.

“The fact that Putin is trying to destroy Ukraine is only creating a more powerful, united nation. The UK will stay with Ukraine for as long as it takes. Now, more than ever, Ukraine must win,” Truss stressed.

She also recalled that Britain provided various military assistance - from armored personnel carriers to drones, helped with the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and imposed sanctions against a number of Russian citizens and Russian enterprises.

“These actions have one goal: to strengthen President Zelensky. We know that Ukraine can win the war with the free world's support,” the minister explained.

She remarked that no one can feel safe until Russia withdraws.

“We cannot allow such aggression in the future. That is what the UK will be working towards. This is why the UK is working with partners to help rebuild Ukraine… The aggressor must lose, and this is why we must help the Ukrainian people drive the Russians out of their land," the British Foreign Secretary said.
