The first project within the framework of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States could be the development of the "Dobra" lithium deposit.
This was announced by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President.
"Ukraine is preparing to announce a tender for the development of the 'Dobra' lithium deposit in the Kirovohrad region. This could become the first project in cooperation with the United States. I’m glad to see that the process is moving forward and that the results of our meetings in Washington a week ago are turning into concrete actions," Yermak stated.
He also noted that on June 18, at the G7 summit, they managed to discuss cooperation with the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent.
"Today in Canada at the G7, together with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko, we met with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and had detailed discussions on cooperation. We continue working," added the Head of the President’s Office.
