During the night of October 31 (starting from 7:00 p.m. on October 30), Russian forces launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region and 145 attack drones of various types — including Shahed, Gerbera, and others — from several directions: Kursk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in the occupied territory of Crimea. About 90 of the drones were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by Ukraine’s Air Force, air defense missile units, electronic warfare and drone system divisions, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 9:00 a.m., air defense units shot down or suppressed one ballistic missile and 107 drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types — over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
A total of 36 attack drones hit 20 locations.
