In the presence of Ukraine's Minister for Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin, representatives from the Ukrainian company Frontline and the German company Quantum Systems signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining a strategic partnership in the field of defense technologies.
It is worth noting that two Quantum Systems enterprises are already operational in Ukraine: an R&D center and a drone service and development facility. The company plans to double production this year. The signing of the Memorandum with the Ukrainian company marks another step toward deepening the integration of the German company into the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex, the Minister highlighted.
"I am grateful to Quantum Systems for their interest in cooperation and for the concrete steps and results achieved. Our collaboration significantly strengthens the defense industry by introducing cutting-edge technologies and improving existing systems. I am pleased that the Ukrainian defense industry has such a powerful and consistent partner. Our cooperation is mutually beneficial and highly effective. I am confident this will inspire other defense companies around the world to come and work in Ukraine, in cooperation with our enterprises," said Herman Smetanin.
The companies plan to collaborate on both technological and industrial levels, scale up capabilities, create joint R&D projects, and integrate Ukrainian defense technologies into the European defense-industrial base. Special attention will be given to scaling production in Ukraine, implementing modern management systems, and localizing the component base in Europe.
