The Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems has updated the SHARK reconnaissance drone. The company revealed the changes on its Twitter page.
The updated SHARK UAV received larger wings with a span of 3.4 m, as well as a more powerful battery. Such modifications increased the flight time from two to four hours - now the drone can conduct reconnaissance and correct artillery fire on the battlefield twice as long.
“It is these updated SHARKs that will go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And this is an advantage in the war and the saved lives of our soldiers,†representatives of Ukrspecsystems said.
SHARK is a Ukrainian aviation complex, including three drones and a catapult. Drones receive a communication system protected from electronic warfare - it transmits a video signal in FullHD quality at a distance of up to 60 km. The aircraft will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out reconnaissance of the territory controlled by Russian troops, being at a safe distance.
