At the end of 2025, the enterprises of JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry increased the production of weapons and military equipment by 1.5 times compared to the previous year – from UAH 122 billion in 2024 to over UAH 180 billion in 2025.
This dynamic growth resulted from the expansion of production capacities and higher workload at the enterprises – the number of state contracts last year increased by more than 50%.
“This is Ukraine’s response to the challenges of modern war and evidence that our weapons are becoming the foundation of national security,” said Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Denys Shmyhal.

Veterans played a special role in achieving these results. Ukroboronprom continues to develop human resources and socially integrate defenders: the number of veterans joining the teams of JSC “Ukroboronprom” and its enterprises increased by 37% in 2025. Currently, over 1,000 veterans work within the company’s structure.
Additionally, Ukroboronprom has intensified cooperation with educational institutions to train new personnel.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues efforts to strengthen and develop the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex as a technological backbone of the state and a guarantor of national security.
