France is being considered as one of the possible locations for the global Peace Formula summit, according to Ukraine's Ambassador to France, Vadym Omelchenko.

"Currently, France is among a small number of countries where the global Peace Summit could take place. By the way, Emmanuel Macron also stated that he is ready to work on involving the leaders of China, India, and Brazil in the forum," Omelchenko said in an interview with LB.ua.

The Ambassador noted that France is prepared to seriously work on implementing the first point of the Peace Formula – the restoration and observance of radiation and nuclear safety.

"The French leadership informed the Ukrainian authorities about this as soon as President Zelensky presented the formula. Nuclear and atomic energy are strategic industries for France. In Paris, they believe that the precedents in Ukraine pose a danger to the entire world, as they could lead to unforeseeable consequences," he said.

According to the Ambassador, France is currently Ukraine's most important partner in communication with the leadership of the IAEA.

At the same time, Omelchenko emphasized that Macron fully supports Ukraine's Peace Formula, which is why the French express a desire to assist in implementing all its points.

"By the way, high-level French representatives actively participated in the forum in Jeddah and held negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation led by the Head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak. French diplomats and officials are also actively involved in the new format: discussions with the head of the President's Office and his team on specific points of the peace formula. Ambassadors of Ukraine, who have started similar discussions in host countries, joined this process last week," he added.
