Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, said that the Russian occupation forces had tripled the intensity of hostilities in certain front sectors.
According to the Telegram of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he said this during a telephone conversation with the Supreme Commander of the NATO Joint Armed Forces in Europe and the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Gerard Cavoli. Zaluzhny emphasized that up to 80 attacks from the Russian Federation occur daily at the front.
"We discussed the situation at the front. It is tense but controlled. The enemy has tripled the intensity of hostilities in certain front sectors - up to 80 attacks daily. Thanks to the courage and skill of our soldiers, we are holding the line," the message says.
During the conversation, the parties also noted the problem of Russian missile attacks and the use of attack unmanned aerial vehicles by the enemy.
"Our partners understand the need to supply Ukraine with anti-missile and air defense systems and are making significant efforts to this end," Zaluzhny stressed.
