Law enforcement officers have identified another occupier who raped women in the Kyiv region - he turned out to be a 20-year-old radio operator of the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade Bulat Fassakhov. This was announced by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova.
âAnother suspect in violence against women in the Kyiv region has been identified. This is the second exposed Russian rapist, 20-year-old Bulat Fassakhov, radiotelephone operator of the howitzer artillery battalion of the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of the RF Armed Forces,â
According to Venediktova, the Kyiv regional prosecutor's office and the SBU exposed him and informed him of the suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war.
âWe have collected enough evidence that in March 2022, he and a colleague broke into a private house in the village of Brovarsky district. He ordered an accomplice to close all the house inhabitants in the basement, except for one woman. Intimidating the victim with weapons and reprisals against the family, he raped her,â said the Prosecutor General.
A few days later, the war crime was repeated. The same serviceman, along with three others, entered another house. The family was taken outside, leaving one woman who was raped in turn and threatened with murder.
Venediktova added that the identification of the others involved in these atrocities continues.
