Ukraine has already won the war with Russia at the strategic level, but it will be formalized after some time and a certain number of victims.

Political analyst Viktor Andrusiv writes about this.

According to him, in recent months, Ukraine has practically created the most modern NATO army, which can fight with almost all modern types of weapons of the member countries. Ukraine haven't got airplanes and long-range missiles yet. But Putin continues to do everything to give this, in particular, the attack on the port of Odessa, once again proves that Putin fulfills only those agreements that he can be forced to fulfill. The partners of Ukraine have almost completely passed the path from outside observers to allies, and it will be impossible to deviate from this path, no matter how difficult it may be.

According to him, today the Russian dictator has three goals:

  • the capture of Donbas until December;
  • the gas blackmail of European countries;
  • the overthrow of pro-Ukrainian governments in Europe and the loss of Congress by Democrats in the United States.

As Andrusiv notes, Putin has little chance of reaching them.

"The dynamics of the occupier's advance in Donbas, and in parallel with the build-up of our power, cast doubt on the further successes of the Russian army. Especially against the backdrop of fierce losses for the capture of even small settlements. Moreover, the Ukrainian counterattacks that will take place soon may lead to Putin will end 2022 with a much smaller occupied territory than at the moment.

Gas blackmail has no prospects either. Europe cannot live without Russian gas, but the truth is that Putin cannot stop gas supplies, as this would be disastrous for the Russian budget and generally cause technological harm to this process for the future," the analyst writes.

Toppling pro-Ukrainian governments for Putin may result in obtaining even more pro-Ukrainian governments. Replacing Johnson with Truss is excellent news for Ukraine. The crisis in Italy does not yet mean that "Putin's friends" will come to power. In the USA, despite the drop in Biden's support, the Democrats are keeping pace with the conservatives ahead of the November 8 election. After all, Putin has committed so many crimes against humanity that even the extreme left will not be able to explain the Europeans attempts to negotiate with him.

“Summarizing, I will say the following: our victory remains inevitable. Yes, the Russian army and economy are still very far from being exhausted. Yes, we will still pay a high price with innocent lives. But 5 months is already enough time to see a clear historical trend towards the defeat of Putin", he concluded.
