President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi paid tribute to the children who lost their lives as a result of Russia's armed aggression.
The leaders placed toys at the site of the multimedia martyrology "Children" in Kyiv and honored the memory of the fallen young Ukrainians with a moment of silence.
Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin informed Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Narendra Modi about the history of this exhibition and the Russian attacks on places where children are present, including the missile strike on the largest children's hospital, "Okhmatdyt."
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, 570 Ukrainian children have been killed. However, this number is not final, as complete information from the temporarily occupied territories is unavailable. The number of victims continues to grow due to constant Russian attacks.
The multimedia project "Children" was created in June 2022 on the Day of Remembrance of Children Killed by Russia's Armed Aggression Against Ukraine. The martyrology features the names and photographs of the young Ukrainians killed by the aggressor state.
