President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of Estonia Alar Karis in Kyiv.

Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Alar Karis and his wife for participating in the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will be held today in Kyiv.

The President of Ukraine also commended Estonia's decision to allocate 0.25% of GDP annually for the defense needs of our country. This is stipulated in the bilateral security agreement.

“We are grateful for your support in all areas and for the very important agreement on security cooperation between our countries. We are very pleased to have so many strategic partners,” the Head of State emphasized.

 

In addition, he thanked Estonia for its active participation in the reconstruction of our state, particularly for the projects already implemented in the Zhytomyr region.

Special attention was paid to Ukraine's progress towards EU integration. Volodymyr Zelensky praised Estonia's significant expert assistance to Ukraine in the negotiation process.
