During the night, Russian forces launched about 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic and aeroballistic types, against Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported:

“Since nightfall, our emergency services have been working at the sites of the Russian strikes. This was a vile attack. As of now, dozens of people have been injured, including children and a pregnant woman. Unfortunately, four people have died.”

He added that the attack involved roughly 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic and aeroballistic ones.

“This was a calculated strike aimed at causing maximum damage to people and civilian infrastructure. In Kyiv alone, dozens of apartment buildings were damaged. Debris from an Iskander missile damaged the Embassy of Azerbaijan. The main target was Kyiv,” Zelensky emphasized.

The president noted that the enemy also struck Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, and Odesa region. According to preliminary data, Russia used a Zircon missile in Sumy region in the morning.

Zelensky also mentioned reports from Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko on the progress of rescue operations, and from Air Force Commander Anatoliy Kryvonozhko on the results of air defense operations.

He stressed that Ukraine is responding to these attacks with long-range capabilities, and that the world must stop these attacks on civilians through sanctions.

“Russia is still able to sell oil and run its schemes. All this must be stopped. Much work is ongoing with partners to strengthen air defense, but it’s not enough. Additional systems and interceptor missiles are needed. Europe and the US can help. We rely on real solutions,” Zelensky concluded.

The massive Russian attack on the night of November 14 targeted multiple regions of Ukraine, with the capital as the main focus of the combined strike.
