Weapons export: Ukraine opens sales offices in Berlin and Copenhagen

This year, Ukraine is opening two sales offices for weapons that are in surplus and produced under co-production agreements.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this while speaking to journalists:

“We are opening two export capitals. You know this concerns co-production and exports — the weapons we can afford to sell to generate additional funds for our domestic production of scarce items, for which we currently lack money. The first two capitals (decided at the level of the companies involved in co-production as well as at the state level) will be Berlin and Copenhagen. This will happen this year,” Zelensky said.

He added that contracts with EU countries will be handled by Presidential Adviser Oleksandr Kamyshyn.

“Legally, everything will be established, and contracts will be developed. Oleksandr Kamyshyn is in charge of Europe and will represent Ukraine’s exports on the European continent,” the President said.

Additionally, Zelensky noted that work is ongoing with Middle Eastern countries and the United States.

“The United States team regarding the Drone-deal will be in Ukraine next week,” Zelensky emphasized
