Zelensky arrives at Ramstein meeting, to visit Italy next

President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Germany for the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at Ramstein Air Base. He is set to visit Italy afterward.

According to Zelensky's Telegram channel, the President emphasized the need for decisive action and resources from partners to stop Russian air terror. He stressed the importance of having all the announced support packages delivered to combat brigades and called for strong long-range solutions from partners to bring about the just peace Ukraine seeks.

During the Ramstein meeting, Zelensky will:

  • Personally participate in the session.
  • Meet with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
  • Hold talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Following the meeting, Zelensky will travel to Italy to participate in the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum and engage with representatives of the Italian business community.

In Italy, he plans to discuss matters with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

"We are coordinating positions with all G7 allies," Zelensky added.
