President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron.
The head of state thanked France for doing so much to protect human lives.
President Zelensky informed Macron about Ukraine’s urgent needs — primarily air defense systems and missiles. He noted that Russia is taking advantage of the current moment, as global attention is focused on the Middle East and domestic issues in many countries. The President emphasized that Russian attacks have become even more insidious, and the leaders discussed ways to counter them. In particular, work continues on expanding the PURL initiative.
Zelensky and Macron also coordinated contacts with other partners and upcoming diplomatic efforts in the following weeks. Work continues to increase pressure on Russia.
