Results of the Ukraine-NATO Council demonstrate the effectiveness of this tool, improving communication among partner countries to address crucial issues for our state, as stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview in Riga.

"The Ukraine-NATO Council functions as a very effective tool, initiated after the Vilnius Summit. We've utilized this instrument, organizing partner meetings swiftly at the ministerial levels of defense and foreign affairs," noted President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The President also emphasized the initiation of work on security guarantees in line with the Joint Declaration of the G7 and Ukraine, adopted in Vilnius.

"We've commenced work on security guarantees. It's challenging, but I believe we will soon demonstrate to societies, not just Ukrainian, the first draft. Not entirely, as some norms are confidential, but we can show general aspects. I think the assessment will be positive," informed the Head of State.

He highlighted that security guarantees encompass not only the provision of weapons but also financial, IT, and cyber support, serving as a step on Ukraine's path to a secure alliance.

"However, we would like to see a concrete step from NATO countries bringing Ukraine closer to the Alliance. To avoid stagnation. We hope for a successful and powerful summit (NATO summit in Washington), where NATO countries show they are not afraid of Russia," added Volodymyr Zelensky.
