The key motivation for the Ukrainian people to continue the fight against full-scale Russian aggression is the pursuit of justice and freedom, common to all civilized people. That is why the world should help Ukraine, in particular by shoring up its economy, as our country is currently strengthening global security. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during his participation in a special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Answering the questions of the participants of the meeting, the Head of State noted that the Ukrainian people would never forgive Vladimir Putin, his entourage and all those who supported this war and terrorism against our citizens, the death and suffering of children.

"We are not terrorists, so these will be criminal trials. And there will definitely be accountability. There must be. Otherwise, after this terror, others will come, there will be recurrences, autocracy, aggression. As this will imply that it's allowed, if there are no consequences. That is why no one will forgive any of the murderers," he said.

At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the morale of Ukrainians is driven not by a desire for revenge, but by a pursuit of justice, which should be reflected in the sentences for specific people who committed crimes.

"Morale is driven by the desire of Ukrainians to be free. The Ukrainian people are fighting for freedom, people's rights, their choice – of the way to live, of whom to elect, of whom to love, of where to rest. They are fighting absolutely bravely and strongly. And they are fighting for our common values," he emphasized.

According to the President, the price of freedom and justice is harder to understand when they are not threatened, when there is no war. But people all over the civilized world should understand their price even before a disaster occurs and support Ukraine.

"And if we all realize this, we will unite in helping Ukraine and in the political isolation of Putin. And these will be the right political preventive steps to ensure the war doesn't spread to other countries through Ukraine. And this is exactly what Putin wants," Volodymyr Zelensky is convinced.

Answering the question on how the foreign states can help Ukraine, the President called on them to invest in our country. According to him, this will strengthen the Ukrainian economy and facilitate the return of Ukrainian citizens home, while a strong Ukraine will enhance the security of other states.

"Ukraine's strength and treasure is, first and foremost, its people. They have proved to the world that they are smart, talented, modern and resourceful. They are brave and absolutely open-minded. And I told you that only our population, our people and your investments and jobs can build a strong economy for us today. To do this, we need investments from absolutely transparent, predictable, clean companies," the Head of State summarized.
