The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe continues to strengthen its position in European markets by establishing a partnership in the summer of this year with one of the largest global railcar manufacturers, Greenbrier Group, as reported by the company’s press service on their Facebook page.

According to the company, with American roots and production facilities in the USA, Greenbrier Group is actively expanding its presence in the European market.

It is also noted that in early November, Pierre Brand Brown, Director of Strategic Procurement for Greenbrier Group's European division, visited Interpipe Steel and Interpipe NTZ in Dnipro.

Currently, the group’s factories continue to operate during the war, remaining a reliable supplier, and further cooperation between Interpipe and Greenbrier Group is under discussion.

"During my visit, it was important for me to see that even under the current conditions in Ukraine, Interpipe’s production continues to operate. I saw the full process—from steel billets to wheel sets, quality control, and traceability at all production stages. Additionally, I had the opportunity to talk to the team and saw people who want to work. This is my first time in Ukraine. Some might say that this is not the best time for visits, but for us, it is important to show that you are not alone," emphasized Pierre Brand Brown.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to over 50 countries worldwide through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America, and Europe. In 2023, Interpipe sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Railway products are sold under the KLW brand.

The total number of Interpipe employees is about 9,500, with around 950 workers serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other security forces. In 2023, the company paid a record 4.4 billion UAH in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels.
