At the World Deep Freediving Championship in Kalamata, Greece, the Ukrainian athlete Kateryna Sadurska set a record by diving to a depth of 80 meters in the "constant weight no fins" (CNF) discipline.

Sadurska also won gold in the free immersion (FIM) event with a result of 95 meters. The 32-year-old Ukrainian has become the world champion in this discipline for the third consecutive time.

“And, like all my previous victories, I dedicate this one to Ukraine, our defenders, and everyone fighting for our freedom,” the athlete wrote on social media.

Kateryna Sadurska also achieved a national record (103 meters) in the monofin dive at the World Championship in Greece, where she placed fourth in that discipline.

We congratulate Kateryna and her coaches and continue to cheer for her at the championship, which will run until October 12.
