Latvia has sent a new batch of strike UAVs to Ukraine as part of the international drone coalition.
This was reported by the Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds.
“Another 1,500 combat drones are on their way from Latvia to Ukraine. Two Latvian companies delivered 12,000 drones in the first half of the year as part of the international drone coalition,” Spruds wrote on his social media account on X, sharing related photos and videos.
He noted that the latest batch includes 1,500 combat drones, part of a larger order of 12,000 drones that the two Latvian companies are producing for Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the first half of the year.
It’s worth noting that the previous batch of UAVs, also reported by the Latvian official, was sent to Ukraine in early April and likewise included 1,500 drones.
