The European leaders were received by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
This marks the first joint visit to Ukraine by Macron, Merz, Starmer, and Tusk. The leaders are expected to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky to reaffirm their countries’ unwavering support amid Russia’s ongoing war.
A meeting of the "coalition of the willing" will also take place on Saturday.
The meeting aims to coordinate efforts in support of a proposed 30-day pause in hostilities.
During their visit to Kyiv, the European leaders will also honor the memory of the victims of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
