Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended again

The Verkhovna Rada has supported the continuation of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. This legal regime will remain in effect for at least another 90 days.

This was reported by MP from the "Holos" party, Yaroslav Zhelezniak.

The members of parliament voted in favor of draft laws №12404 and 12405, which were registered in parliament by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

A total of 315 MPs voted in favor of extending martial law.

The continuation of general mobilization was supported by 310 parliamentarians. This marks the 14th time the Verkhovna Rada has passed a decision to extend martial law and general mobilization in the country. Thus, these measures will be in effect from February 8, 2025, to May 9, 2025.

The respective documents must now be signed by the President.
