The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has no authority to declare the Ukrainian ambassador an "undesirable person." This was stated by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.

He noted that there is no Ukrainian embassy in the Republika Srpska. It is in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska is a part of it. At the same time, the constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina gives powers in the field of foreign policy exclusively to the Presidium of BiH.

Milorad Dodik does not have the authority to make such decisions, and his statement should be viewed solely as a ridiculous attempt to justify his populist decisions to please the Kremlin.
