On March 31, Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko held an online meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States in Ukraine Kristina Kvien.

During the meeting, the Chargé d'Affaires Kristina Kvien confirmed the U.S. intention to provide Ukraine with $500 million in direct funding from the state budget. These funds will be provided on a non-refundable basis.

Serhii Marchenko thanked the United States for supporting our state during this difficult historical period.

The funds are grant funds, and this is especially important, given the need to think about rebuilding the country after our victory. The United States is once again demonstrating that it is our trusted friends and key partners
