Ukraine's representative at "Miss Universe - 2023," Angelina Usanova, became the winner of the beauty contest in Egypt, Miss Eco International - 2024.
She announced this on Instagram.
The 26-year-old Ukrainian singer, winner of the "Miss Universe Ukraine - 2023" contest, Angelina Usanova, won the beauty contest in Cairo on April 28, which aims to draw attention to ecology and encourage people to care for nature.
The winner will become a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Ecology and the Environment.
"I am incredibly happy to bring such a prestigious title to Ukraine. In a month, I will become a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Ecology and the Environment to once again convey Ukraine's voice to the global community, emphasizing the issues of the environment affected by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Today, I am celebrating my victory and grateful for the support of all my fans," Angelina commented on her victory.

In addition to the main award, the Ukrainian contestant received 1st place in the Miss Eco Best Resort Wear category for the best beach look and 3rd place in the eco-costume competition with the theme "World on Fire."
Usanova represented Ukraine in a dress featuring black, orange, and red colors, complemented by accessories symbolizing forest fires. The dress corset was adorned with plastic bottles of red and black color, as well as pieces cut from construction pipes. Each detail was individually treated with fire to give the appearance of flames. The "World on Fire" skirt was made from used curtains and tulle with a fire print. Through her attire, she aimed to draw attention to the issue of forest fires.

The Ukrainian contestant also made it to the top five in the competition for national costumes with her "Phoenix" dress, symbolizing Ukraine rising from the ashes despite all hardships.
