Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company won the tender of HBIS Serbia, one of the largest European steel producers. The contract provides for transporting more than 500,000 tons of cargo and provides the UDSC fleet with stable work throughout the year.
It was not an easy fight. The tender was held among the leading shipping companies of the Danube.
"We did a lot of work and convinced our partners to accept favorable conditions for Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company. We went to the meeting, because thanks to the changes implemented in shipping, we are perceived as a stable and reliable partner that they trust. Our partners also do not exclude the possibility of increasing the volume of transportation.
The victory of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company proved once again: investments in the construction/modernization of the fleet are absolutely economically justified - there is more than enough work on the Danube. Therefore, this year we are concentrating all our efforts in this direction," said Dmytro Moskalenko, General Director of PJSC Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company.
