A Russian attack on the night of January 24 struck multiple districts of Kyiv, killing a woman and injuring four others, Ukrainian authorities reported.

In the Holosiivskyi district, the upper floor of a confectionery factory was destroyed, claiming the life of a 49-year-old woman and injuring two others. A nearby private house was also damaged, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In the Dnipro district, firefighters extinguished a fire at a garage cooperative. A separate incident involved a fuel truck that caught fire and leaked fuel; one person was injured and the situation has been contained.

The Darnytskyi district saw an uninhabited multi-story residential building damaged by fire, which has since been extinguished. In Solomianskyi district, an office building was damaged, while additional attacks caused destruction to residential buildings, vehicles, a library, a shopping center, garage cooperatives, the fence of the green metro line, and production facilities at a confectionery enterprise, according to Kyiv police.

Authorities continue to work on-site to manage the aftermath. Investigative teams, bomb disposal units, emergency responders, and other specialized services are addressing damage and ensuring public safety.
